Arsenal 2-1 Fulham - Highlights

Arsenal came from behind to beat Fulham 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.  An early mistake by Jens Lehman handed David Healy an easy chance to score for Fulham.  Robin van Persie levelled from the penalty spot after 82 minutes and Alexander Hleb scored in the 90th minute.

Derby County 2-2 Portsmouth - Highlights

Derby County were held to a 2-2 draw by Portsmouth upon their return to the Premiership. Oakley and Todd were on target for the Rams, with Benjani and Utaka scoring for Harry Redknapp’s side.

Bolton Wanderers 1-3 Newcastle United - Highlights

Sam Allardyce returned to the Reebok Stadium on Saturday and took all three points after his Newcastle United side beat Bolton Wanderers 3-1.

Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool - Highlights

Steven Gerrard was the hero once again for Liverpool when his stunning 30-yard strike gave the Reds a deserved 2-1 win against Aston Villa. Martin Laursen put through his own net for Villa, but Gareth Barry levelled from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining. Up stepped Gerrard to do what he does best.

Sunderland 1-0 Tottenham - Goal Video

Michael Chopra grabbed a late winner for Sunderland to give them a 1-0 win over Martin Jol’s much fancied Tottenham Hotspur.

Jan Koller attracting Premiership interest

Jan KollerCzech Republic striker Jan Koller is said to be attracting the interest of three Premiership clubs.

The striker is currently playing for Monaco and is considering his future at the club after it’s unlikely the giant forward will be first choice at the Stade Louis this season.

This news is said to have alerted Birmingham, Middlesbrough and Reading who are all reported to be considering making an offer for the 34-year-old.

Mido: I’m leaving Tottenham

Spurs - MidoMido has confirmed that he will definitely leave Tottenham Hotspur during the transfer window, but has not yet made his mind up on who to join.

The 24-year-old confirmed that Sunderland and Birmingham City have made official offers, along with another side but dismissed claims that it could be Fulham because they could not afford his wages.
